I decided to make White Cholate Almond Bark for the family as my gift this year. Hope everyone likes it. made this batch with pecans. The batch i made for the office was made with peppermint.

Christmas Scarf

Last year i knit a scarf for a coworker and she loved it. This year she wanted another one but wanted it in Black. I went to Hobby Lobby and got the " I Love This Yarn" It is Black with Silver in it. Yeah!! another satisfied customer.

Organizing DMC Stash

Today was my off day and decided to take it and organize my floss by number. I was doing it by colors and that wasn't working for me. I would go to look for colors and be off by a whole shade. I got a lot of it when Wal-Mart marked it down to 10 cents a skein. I really miss their cross-stitch dept. I would learn to cross-stitch when they discontinue it. But, just a few pics of the stash i do have.

Thanksgiving 2009

I am so grateful for this Thanksgiving!! I played around with my hair this morning before i go out and have some great food with family and friens. Thought I would post a few pics. Will have some family holiday pics to post later on.

Learning to Knit Socks

This is my first try at knitting socks. I said it was too hard to do and watched others do it. i decided i would give it a chance. so far so good!!!

What a difference a few months make. I was totally out of shape for the 2K fun run. For the 5K i was 30lbs. lighter and ready to do it again!!!!

As you launder or iron clothes for your family members, cover their minds, spirits and bodies with the protection of God and his Angels! Bind the enemy’s influence over them!

While you are folding the laundry, get fired up and break every spirit of lack and insufficiency over your finances and release every blessing of increase, abundance and overflow!

As the events of your day unfold, frame your world with the word of God! You’ll be spending thistime doing various tasks anyway, so why not multitask and multiply your efforts?

My First 5K Run! Not My Last

I did it!! The Senior Bowl Charity Run 2009!! I did it!! I am excited and looking forward to another 5K next month!!!

Just wanted to add some pictures of items i stitched earlier this year that i have yet to frame. Hopefully i will get to that soon. The first one is "Be Not Forgetful" by My Big Toe. The last one is "Black & White Roses" The pattern was in the July 2008 issue of Cross-Stitch & Needlework Magazine.

My First Post

Today I am setting out to blog for the first time. I pray this Journey will be a fun one filled with the goodness of God and many creative projects that show off the talents he has blessed me with. This is the latest project I am working on, called " Faith,Hope,Love" it has taken me a while since i started school. Hopefully i will be finished with it in the next few weeks.
